As a child, Cheaza’s mother entered her into many local talent shows to satisfy the desire she saw growing within her daughter’s heart to sing. Not only did her mother invest time into her child, but she too had a career in performing. Her mother was an Ikette with the legendary Ike and Tina Turner. You can find a performance of her on the Ed Sullivan Show. Her mother also surrounded her around some of the best entertainers in the industry. She was around the likes of Smokey Robinson, Rick James, Charlie Wilson and the Gap Band, Lakeside and many more. Having the opportunity to live such an experience as a young child, has helped mold her into the seasoned performer she is today.

Cheaza has appeared on the WB’s Popstars, and was a guest star on City Guys, where she still receives fan mail from many that support her. Cheaza was also featured on The N soundtrack compilation album alongside The Donnas and Natasha Bedingfield. She’s performed with Wayne Brady in Las Vegas, Nevada, at the Venetian Hotel and Casino, and you can also hear her on Wayne Brady’s newly released CD,  A Long Time Coming. Cheaza has had songs placed on the X Factor (MTV), Extra, and South of Nowhere (CBS). Some of her live performances include The View and many of The Pops Symphony Orchestras around the United States with
Wayne Brady. She has also hosted for the CW.

It’s of no surprise she’s born to sing and perform.  Her Funk/Rock edge sound puts her in a category of her own. Cheaza is looking to bring back what she once saw and experienced as a child, music people will remember! There are many fans that support and await her coming out in the music world.
